Contitech Gray Vintner Food Rubber Transfer Hose

Contitech (formerly Goodyear) Vintner Reserve Hose is the first crushproof hose in the winery & brewery industry. As the originator, it has proven to be the most reliable and popular brand - and is made of high-quality materials on a smooth chrome mandrel, it will not impart taste or transfer odour and will perform for many years. What makes this hose unique is it is a lightweight, 'crush resistant' alternative to traditional softwall or steel wire reinforced hoses. Vintner has a special polyester monofilament helix which will not corrode or rust and will tend to spring back to shape when crushed. It is suitable for gravity flow, pressure, or suction (27"/hg) of NON-OILY edible products and fluids, such as wine, beer, and potable water. Its chlorobutyl tube meets FDA, USDA and Sanitary 3A requirements and is not compatible with oily products, but it can be steam cleaned (open end) after use. Its smooth cover and tube prevent material and bacteria buildup.

Construction: 

Tube: Ultra-smooth, white chlorobutyl.
Cover: Wrapped, smooth, grey EPDM with a purple spiral stripe.
Reinforcement: Spiral plied synthetic fabric with a polyester monofilament helix.

Temperature Range: -25°F to 220°F (-32°C to +105°C)
