Back in spring, all carriers announced suspensions of service level guarantees for all shipments from any origin to any destination. This has not been a problem for us so far, but COVID cases increasing across North America and with the holidays approaching, the peak package season of the year, we fear that this is going to change soon.
As of April 1, 2020:
- FedEx and UPS suspended their respective service guarantees, citing expected delays and disruptions related to the global coronavirus response.
- FedEx has suspended its global Money Back Guarantee for all FedEx Express, FedExGround, FedEx Freight and FedEx Office services until further notice.
- UPS has suspended its service guarantee indefinitely for U.S. originating shipments.
CPE Systems will do whatever we can to get your shipment to you as quickly as possible but we cannot guarantee a delivery date, and will not reimburse customers for a service level failure by the carrier.
