Flexible Impeller Pumps have two main seals: a mechanical seal and an outer seal. The outer seal is formed by an o-ring which can wear down, causing leaking. The speed at which the o-ring wears down depends on how often and how vigorously the pump is used.  Replacing the o-ring is a quick solution to this problem. Please refer to the flexible impeller guide for instructions on how to replace your o-ring.

Optional upgrades include EPDM materials for better handling of temperatures from 160° to 180° F.
