Lobe Pumps

The QL Series pump is a rotary lobe pump in the positive displacement pump family. Rotary lobe pumps use two non-contacting, rotating lobes (single, bi-wing, tri-lobe, or multi-lobe) to propel fluids through their chambers. As the lobes rotate, they create large cavities that trap liquids and move them from the inlet port towards the outlet port. Due to the large rotor cavities, the particle size can be much larger than other types of positive displacement pumps.
