Description
The Versachem Hose was designed by ContiTech specifically for the transfer of chemicals, high-proof alcohol, ethanol, highly viscous substances, and powdery materials. It is perfect for the food, beverage, alcohol, herbal extraction, pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, and cosmetic industries. The interior lining of the hose tube is made of UHMWPE, a smooth, static dissipating, non-porous material, making it chemical and abrasion-resistant, easy to clean, and appropriate for explosive atmospheres. The outer covering is made of EPDM, and is designed to withstand the wear and tear of production facilities; it is weather, abrasion, ozone, and UV resistant. For intense cleaning needs, it can withstand open steaming (288°F) for up to 15 minutes. For added durability, the Versachem hose is reinforced with dual steel helix wires and spiral-plied synthetic fabric. This hose is designed to withstand anything you can throw at it, making it the perfect addition for harsh environments and applications. This hose assembly has stainless steel Tri-Clamp ends, which are crimped along the entire circumference of the tube, creating a secure and hygienic connection.

Hose Bumpers
Silicone Hose Bumper
The silicone bumper provides practical and simple bumper protection for 1-1/2" and 2" hoses. This bumper does not interfere with the function of the hose end and offers basic protection from drops and dings.
Sliding Hose Bumper
Designed by Dixon to be lightweight and protective, this bumper offers complete protection without interfering with the function of your hose. This bumper is made of FDA polypropylene plastic. When in the forward position it covers the Tri-Clamp end fully, protecting the rim from damage. It easily slides back to allow unrestricted access to the connection when needed. This bumper works with our new hose ends only and comes in 1" and 1-1/2".
